Job Summary and QualificationsAbout Our Unit:
Our Cardiac Telemetry team is responsible for assessing acute patient changes. Nurses in this unit monitor heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond to emergencies. They possess advanced critical thinking skills and extensive clinical knowledge, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations. Our unit specializes in caring for patients recovering from open-heart surgeries, heart catheterizations, ablations, and other cardiovascular procedures.
Who We Are
- Two dedicated 29-bed units focused on cardiac patient care.
Patient Types We Serve
- Acute and chronic heart failure cases.
- Electrophysiology patients (pacemaker, ablation).
- Structural heart patients (mitral clip, TAVR, TMVR, watchman, valve angioplasty).
- Post-operative patients from open-heart surgeries.
- Patients recovering from cardiac catheterization.
