Position Overview

The Department of Veterans Affairs is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced General Psychiatrist to join our team at the Spokane VA Medical Center. This is a full-time role for a board certified or board eligible psychiatrist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive care to patients with various behavioral health issues.
  • Manage a caseload while offering consultation services to Behavioral Health, Primary Care, and other clinical programs.
  • Collaborate with community agencies and fellow clinicians to ensure optimal care for veterans.
  • Oversee one or more Behavioral Health programs, either at the main facility or associated clinics.
  • Engage in Tele-psychiatry duties as required.
