Child Care Services Coordinator

The Child Care Services Coordinator will:
- Manage a caseload of clients to ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct intake assessments for individuals seeking subsidized child care assistance.
- Receive and coordinate referrals for child care from authorized sources.
- Evaluate, confirm, and document eligibility, informing parents of their status.
- Enroll eligible children as directed by relevant authorities and service providers.
- Encourage and monitor parental adherence to the Personal Responsibility Agreement, applying sanctions when necessary.
- Facilitate enrollment of children in suitable child care environments.
- Authorize payments to eligible parents upon receipt of valid documentation and assess applicable parent fees.
- Implement strategies for client service, fund allocation, enrollment, and prioritization of services.
- Clarify parents' rights and responsibilities, including attendance obligations.
- Monitor attendance and service utilization, reporting any suspected fraud or misuse.
- Input client and case information into the designated systems accurately.
- Assist in preparing for quality assurance evaluations.
- Provide informational support and guidance to parents as needed.
- May oversee the recruitment and monitoring of local relative child care providers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational and management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various levels of management and staff.
- Familiarity with community resources is essential.
- Capability to engage with and relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Cultural sensitivity is a requirement.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, with the capacity to learn specialized software.
