We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Clinical Liaison at our newly established Neuro Transitional Center.

As a Clinical Liaison, you will serve as a vital advocate, guiding patients through their healthcare journey while fostering connections within the local medical community. Your clinical expertise will be instrumental in evaluating and presenting care options to patients requiring assistance. A significant part of your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to enhance referrals and admissions to our Neuro Transitional Rehabilitation Center. We are looking for a dedicated clinician with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
The focus of transitional rehabilitation is on individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, strokes, or other neurological conditions. Our Neuro Transitional Center is designed to provide comprehensive therapy in a supportive, home-like setting, promoting independence for patients as they transition back home.
Key ResponsibilitiesRole Summary
In this position, you will cultivate professional relationships with healthcare providers, educate both staff and patients, assess potential admissions to the rehabilitation facility, and oversee the referral process. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Expanding our referral network and advocating for patient needs
- Collaborating with physicians in acute care settings
- Securing insurance approvals and managing appeals
- Informing patients and families about rehabilitation services and their benefits
- Formulating strategies to enhance market presence
Essential Qualifications
- Current and valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist
Preferred Background
- At least two years of clinical healthcare experience
- Proven skills in rehabilitation assessments
- Demonstrated success in sales and marketing
- Experience with insurance processes and appeals
- Proficiency in computer applications
- Strong judgment in healthcare sales
