Job Summary

We are seeking charismatic individuals to join our team as Catering Assistants. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering an excellent dining experience to our residents. Your passion for food and commitment to exceptional service will make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Take patient menu selections prior to meals
  • Set up and break down the kitchen and dining room for each meal period
  • Maintain the highest standard for cleanliness and organize all work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Communicate with the nursing department, clinical dieticians, and other personnel to provide excellent resident services
  • Abide by food prep health and safety guidelines
Requirements
  • Ability to read, write legibly, and understand written and verbal instructions
  • Basic math skills and ability to learn and operate various household appliances
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working in a long-term care environment, with the elderly population, food service, or housekeeping is preferred
