The Role

This role is an essential part of the School's Catering team, contributing significantly to the daily operations of the boarding dining facility. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness associated with the breakfast service for boarding students and providing assistance to the Catering team. The position also entails some food handling and preparation tasks.

All members of the Catering team play a vital role in ensuring the kitchen and dining area operate efficiently and effectively, safeguarding the welfare, safety, privacy, and overall wellbeing of all students. It is crucial to uphold a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with established guidelines.

This is a part-time position, requiring a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week during school term periods. Work schedules can be discussed and arranged with the selected candidate.

  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently.
  • Prior experience in food preparation and/or kitchen operations.
  • A strong work ethic with the capability to follow instructions and perform tasks efficiently.
