Job Summary
As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the installation and removal of molds and fixtures for molding machinery. Your role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and safety of our production processes.

Essential Responsibilities
1. Follow established protocols for the removal of molds from machines, which includes:
- Disconnecting water and hydraulic lines
- Removing nozzles and heater blocks
- Unclamping and hoisting molds from the machinery

2. Adhere to procedures for installing molds into machines, which involves:
- Connecting water and hydraulic lines
- Installing nozzles and heater blocks
- Clamping and securing molds

3. Perform cleaning and maintenance on molding nozzles.
4. Wire heater bands together as needed.
5. Install or remove inserts for molds according to schedule.
6. Rig molds for both removal from and installation into machines.
7. Safely transport molds within the facility using cranes and forklifts.
8. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational functionality of mold components and tools.

Qualifications
- Certification in forklift operation
- Crane operation certification
- Authorized lockout/tag out certification
- Training in the use of hand and power tools, including torches and various hand tools

Experience
Previous experience in changing molds in plastic machinery is advantageous. Familiarity with torch operations and bench grinder usage is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Demands
This position requires physical activities such as walking, standing, climbing, bending, and stretching. Candidates should be able to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs. The work environment is primarily indoors, with frequent exposure to hot equipment and materials, including oil and grease.
