- Ensure accurate and timely processing of laboratory samples, including phlebotomy, blood typing, and cross-matching.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict quality control and safety standards.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve any issues or concerns related to specimen collection or processing.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, laboratory staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform clinical tasks.
- Must be able to pass a colorblind test.
This is a full-time position, working 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
