Key Responsibilities
The Sales Coordinator will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of sales strategies to achieve the hotel's financial objectives. Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with current and prospective clients to follow up on group bookings and events, ensuring all communications are clear and professional.
- Maintaining organized records of correspondence and essential documents, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
- Providing exceptional service to key corporate accounts through regular follow-ups and diligent file management.
- Supporting the Director of Sales in the development of the annual business strategy.
- Participating in community and professional events to promote the hotel and enhance its visibility.
- Communicating client needs effectively during meetings and discussions.
- Assisting in the preparation of rate proposals and contractual agreements.
- Overseeing the management of assigned sales activities to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Handling incoming sales inquiries, taking accurate messages, and directing calls appropriately.
- Contributing insights to product development processes from a sales perspective.
- Addressing customer feedback and recommending improvements to enhance service quality.
- Gathering and analyzing competitive market information to inform business strategies.
- Fostering positive relationships with marketing and sales teams across the organization.
- Providing operational support in hotel functions as required.
