Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Star MSO, Inc. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, accurately handling cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and parking lot.
  • Assist customers in locating items, answering questions, and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Comply with suggestive selling program, building displays to promote customer awareness of sale items and generate additional sales.
Requirements
  • Mathematical skill to count, add, subtract, copy, and record figures.
  • Ability to operate various machines typical in the retail setting, such as cash registers, credit card machines, and gas pump consoles.
  • Written communication skill to fill out routine forms and records.
  • Oral communication skill to give, receive, or exchange information with co-workers, customers, and vendors in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Interpersonal communication skill to work effectively with others in order to coordinate activities and complete assigned tasks.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs.

Salary and Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $16.00 - $16.50 per hour, with opportunities for advancement and professional growth. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
