Residential Energy Solutions Specialist

Job Summary
Tesla is seeking an experienced professional to serve as a Residential Energy Solutions Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing strategic partnerships with technology companies within the utility industry to promote virtual power plant technology using Tesla's residential energy products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with utility companies, municipalities, and energy service providers to promote virtual power plant technology.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and identify potential opportunities for virtual power plant projects.
- Prepare comprehensive proposals and negotiate contracts to secure virtual power plant installations and partnerships.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies to identify competitive advantages and enhance sales strategies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry, including utility operations, grid management, and renewable energy integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders, including utility executives, engineers, and government officials.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to identify opportunities and overcome challenges in the virtual power plant adoption space.
- Proficient in contract negotiations and adept at finding win-win solutions that align with both parties' objectives.
