About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our team at ProSolar Systems Caribbean. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating sales and promoting our company's products and services to homeowners and businesses in the Caribbean region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a territory for the company, identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in the Caribbean region.
  • Become an expert in renewable energy and smart home products, understanding their benefits and features to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Help families and businesses save money through our consumer-focused sales practice, providing personalized solutions to meet their energy needs.
  • Closing contracts confidently with new customers, while gaining outside business development expertise.
  • Making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers, building relationships and introducing them to our solar products.
  • Answering questions about the product and meeting customer needs, providing exceptional customer service and generating referral sales.
  • Business to consumer outside and virtual sales consulting and full circle project management.
  • Preparing for appointments by building proposals, presentations, and energy audits, conducting effective and educational client-specific presentations.
  • Meeting or exceeding monthly sales appointment and revenue goals, maintaining leads, opportunities, and inter-departmental communications using CRM.
  • Maintaining and immediately updating notes on all client appointments in the CRM, confidently discussing options and closing contracts.
  • Providing customer service and generating referral sales, identifying prospective customers for potential leads to generate a pipeline.
  • Completing and submitting all necessary paperwork for each project, participating in company events to prospect and generate sales.
  • Participating in company training and meetings, networking and looking for opportunities for engagement to build a client base, representing ProSolar's brand.
  • Staying educated on the newest solar energy products and technologies and financing options, performing other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong ability to present information in a persuasive manner.
  • Solar sales or relevant outside sales experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate, with a strong sales background.
  • Enthusiastic representation of our company and products, with a competitive nature and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with a willingness to drive to client locations.
  • Availability of six days a week, including nights and weekends, with some on-call availability.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years related experience.
