Position Summary:

We are currently in search of experienced Senior Information Systems Auditors who are dedicated, diligent, and thrive in collaborative environments. The ideal candidates will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Auditing or a combination of 1 year in IT Audit and 1 year in Accounting. This role involves evaluating internal control systems, pinpointing vulnerabilities, and assisting clients in formulating strategies to mitigate potential security risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage up-to-date knowledge of IT trends and risks to uncover opportunities for enhancing security and risk management, thereby adding value to our clients.
  • Collaborate within a team to assess the security posture of intricate information systems.
  • Draft clear, concise, and timely reports, engaging in discussions regarding audit findings with senior audit team members.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, and control deficiencies within the audited processes.
  • Review and assess internal control frameworks, working alongside clients to develop and implement robust security policies and strategies.
  • Recognize information technology system risks and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Summarize and document audit testing outcomes for management reporting, ensuring proper handling of test exceptions.
  • Utilize industry best practices to propose integrated security solutions that safeguard proprietary data and systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with Federal and/or DoD projects is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years in IT Audit or a combination of 1 year in IT Audit and 1 year in Accounting.
  • Familiarity with FISCAM and/or FISMA audit processes.
  • Knowledge of A-123 and internal control frameworks.
  • CISA Certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of ERP systems and the essential business cycles that contribute to the integrity of financial statements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
