The Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing strategies, coordinating community engagement initiatives, and tracking the effectiveness of promotional campaigns. This position serves as a vital link between marketing consultants and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Community Integration & Impact to develop and implement marketing and communication strategies.
  • Lead or assist in capital campaigns, establishing priorities and managing prospect lists.
  • Oversee photography and videography projects, creating a comprehensive repository of visual content.
  • Engage with state and local officials to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Work alongside the VP and marketing consultants to establish tracking systems for marketing initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and management of the marketing budget.
  • Act as the internal project manager for various marketing and communication projects.
  • Evaluate and update all marketing materials and promotional tools.
  • Foster relationships with local media to enhance visibility for programs and services.
  • Coordinate community outreach events, ensuring adequate staffing and participation.
  • Support the InterCommunity Ambassador Program, promoting community engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or five years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a marketing or communications role is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
