Job Title: Director of Patient Support Services

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year

This role is a high-level position that oversees all aspects of Case Management for patients on a BioCryst product. As the Director of Patient Support Services, you will provide reimbursement assistance, education, and support for BioCryst products. You will lead and coach a team of Patient Support Managers who educate patients, their caregivers, family members, physicians, nurses, and office staff to address and prevent access barriers to therapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor Patient Support Managers in educating patients, physicians, and office staff while following compliance guidelines.
  • Provide ongoing support to Patient Support Managers through team calls, ride-alongs, and meetings.
  • Manage Patient Support team goals and objectives and advise in challenging case management situations.
  • Develop best practices and opportunities for process improvement to ensure consistency across the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of commercial experience with a strong preference for Specialty Pharmacy and/or biotech/pharma experience.
  • 2+ years of direct people management experience preferred or equivalent experience in mentoring/coaching, training, and guiding others.
