Strategic Patient Support Manager

At BioCryst, we strive to improve the lives of people living with complement-mediated and other rare diseases. This role plays a critical part in our mission by overseeing all aspects of Case Management for consented patients on a BioCryst product.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and Coach Team: Guide a team of Patient Support Managers in educating patients, physicians, nurses, and office staff while following strict compliance guidelines.
- Support and Development: Provide ongoing support to PSMs through team calls, ride-alongs, and meetings to ensure compliance and effective use of tools for patient and HCP engagement.
- Goal Setting and Management: Manage PSM team goals and objectives and advise in challenging case management situations.
- Process Improvement: Develop best practices and opportunities for process improvement to ensure consistency across the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to develop and execute comprehensive product access and patient support plans.
This is a remote position that requires overnight travel to meetings, conferences, and medical offices. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of commercial experience, preferably in Specialty Pharmacy and/or biotech/pharma. A bachelor's degree is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
