Position Overview:
As a Senior Tax Strategy Manager at FORVIS, you will engage collaboratively with colleagues to anticipate future challenges and assist thriving businesses and their proprietors in navigating complexities, aligning tax strategies, and fostering growth. Your role will involve providing genuine support to both your team and clients, maintaining open lines of communication to grasp their operational landscapes and industry dynamics.

Your Contributions:
  • Delivering tax compliance and advisory services to individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and corporations across diverse sectors.
  • Facilitating the development, cultivation, and management of client relationships.
  • Overseeing, mentoring, and developing professional tax personnel.
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by associates and senior staff.
  • Effectively assigning responsibilities to team members and monitoring the progress of engagement teams.
  • Utilizing technology tools proficiently in routine tasks and demonstrating a commitment to enhancing work processes through technological advancements.
  • Conducting thorough research on intricate tax matters, applying insights to projects, and articulating findings in written form.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience managing multiple intricate client engagements.
  • A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
  • Outstanding supervisory, team-building, and time management capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in public accounting or a corporate tax environment.
  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of a CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree in Taxation or a Juris Doctor degree.
  • Experience with partnership taxation.
