Position Summary

As a Senior Patient Care Technician (PCT), your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and document initial and ongoing patient information throughout their care journey, including vital signs, weight, and other relevant data.
- Record observations and interactions, noting any changes in patient condition and reporting these to the supervising registered nurse (RN).
- Assist with patient mobility, ensuring safe transfers and positioning, and support patients in using mobility aids.
- Provide non-medicated care, including dressing changes and skin protection.
- Collect specimens for diagnostic tests, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Aid patients with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, and grooming.
- Conduct regular rounds to anticipate and respond to patient needs promptly.

Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Completion of a CNA, LNA, or EMT training program, or military medic training.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care environment or as a military medic.
- Phlebotomy and telemetry certifications are preferred.
