Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinician to join our team at Family Service of Rhode Island (FSRI). As a Clinician, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and support to patients referred to our agency. Your expertise will be essential in conducting assessments, care coordination, consultation, and crisis evaluations on-site and in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments and utilize screening tools to develop treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention services via telephone or in-person
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.)
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor
  • Experience with Substance Use Disorders
  • Proficiency in medical record software, word-processing, and database software programs
  • Spanish language proficiency (compensated)
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
