Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Children's Intensive Services Clinician to join our team at Family Service of Rhode Island. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and evidence-based services to children, youth, and their caregivers in the community and in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct trauma-focused diagnostic assessments and provide evidence-based services to children, youth, and their caregivers
- Collaborate with case managers, psychiatric teams, and other service providers to ensure best client care
- Provide emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed
- Work as part of a trauma-focused multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practices with fidelity
Requirements:
- Master's degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family, etc.) required
- Required to be licensed or eligible to be licensed in Rhode Island as a Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor
- Experience working with children exposed to trauma preferred
- Skilled in operating various medical record software and hardware, word-processing, and database software programs
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred and compensated
- Flexible schedule with some evenings
- Excellent multitasking and communication skills a must
- Ability to work independently and part of a team
- Bilingual skills compensated by an additional 6% above base pay
Physical Requirements:
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, registration, and auto insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Travel to and from clients' residences, community locations, and office sites, which could include using walkways, stairs, and/or elevators
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs
- Must be able to work remotely and in person adhering to PHI requirements
