Senior Client Engagement Specialist

Location: Kansas City, MO | Hybrid Work Model

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships between clients and the SS&C organization.
  • Engage with clients through conference calls, written correspondence, and in-person meetings.
  • Guide clients in the implementation of our products and services.
  • Analyze and anticipate client needs, recommending innovative solutions.
  • Process system change requests efficiently.
  • Investigate and resolve any system issues reported by clients.
  • Utilize extensive in-house training programs to enhance industry knowledge and product expertise.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members.
  • Set work priorities, plan projects, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Prepare status reports for clients.
  • Coordinate in-person meetings with clients at their locations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Assist with budgeting, billing, and contract management.
  • Support the onboarding of new clients as they transition to SS&C's leading solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of client-facing experience required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Proficient problem-solving and numerical reasoning skills; ability to analyze data and take appropriate action.
  • Highly motivated, career-oriented, and self-starting individual.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Effective time management and strong organizational skills.
  • Capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, processes, and programs.
  • Proficiency in business productivity tools such as word processing, spreadsheets, data management, project management, and presentations.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Chorus/AWD, TA2000, 3270, and Microsoft Excel.
