Job Description and Duties

As a Staff Services Analyst with the Department of Parks & Recreation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Environmental Coordinator and Visitor Services Program. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with document preparation to comply with CEQA, Public Records Act requests, public safety-related reporting, real property management, and permitting utility companies entry onto State Lands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with document preparation and coordination
  • Support public safety-related reporting and real property management
  • Permit utility companies entry onto State Lands
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Coordinator and Visitor Services Program
Working Conditions:

Work environment is an office setting, using computer, telephone, and other business equipment. Typical work activities involve frequent and prolonged periods of sitting. Typical work involves extended telephone conversations and keyboard operation. Must meet deadlines within short timeframes. Must be flexible in tasks.

Special Requirements:
  • Valid California Drivers License (CDL) required
  • Must provide a copy of degree/transcripts and/or license with application
