Job Summary

The Child Care Licensing Program Analyst is responsible for a full range of licensing duties, including developing and implementing orientations, training programs, reviewing applications, and recommending license approval or denial. The successful candidate will also perform on-site facility evaluations, investigate complaints, and recommend administrative actions. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement orientations and training programs for child care providers
  • Review applications for licensure and recommend approval or denial
  • Perform on-site facility evaluations to ensure compliance with licensing standards
  • Investigate complaints and recommend administrative actions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work, education, or public administration
  • At least 2 years of experience in child care licensing or a related field
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
