Assistant Manager Job Description

At Roadrunner Markets, we're seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in steering all store operations, ensuring our station runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Store Manager to drive store performance and achieve business objectives.
  • Recruitment and Training: Identify, recruit, and develop a skilled and enthusiastic store crew.
  • Employee Engagement: Foster a motivated work environment by providing inspirational feedback and coaching.
  • Scheduling and Inventory: Craft employee schedules and manage inventory, ensuring our store is well-stocked and running efficiently.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a safe and welcoming store environment, ensuring our station sparkles.
  • Financial Management: Manage key financial aspects, including payroll, inventory, and cash handling.
  • Store Operations: Step in for the Store Manager as needed, ensuring smooth sailing even on their day off.
Requirements:
  • Age and Availability: Be at least 21 years old and have open availability to work any shift.
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Possess a valid driver's license and liability insurance.
  • English Proficiency: Be fluent in English and have basic math skills.
  • Flexibility: Be ready to adapt to our dynamic environment and work various shifts.
  • Background Check: Pass a pre-employment background check.
