We are seeking a part-time physician to provide primary care services to our employer-based direct care clinic in Merrillville, IN.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will provide direct medical care to client company employees and family members aged 2 and older. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide episodic, preventive, and acute healthcare services to patients.
  • Conduct histories and physical examinations, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Educate and advise patients on medical issues, provide referrals to internal and external medical resources, and evaluate the effectiveness of medical care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and participate in the development of annual health center goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical school.
  • At least three years of post-residency clinical experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency medicine.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state where the site is located.
  • Board certification in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Primary Care, or Emergency Medicine, or Board Eligible with certification within 12 months of hire.
  • Current state and federal DEA certification and Basic Life Support certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations.
