The Program Analyst will provide comprehensive programmatic and project support to the Vice President of National Program & Education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President to shape and implement the goals of the portfolio while supporting the broader objectives of the Education Program through strategic grantmaking and initiatives.
  • Maintain an extensive understanding of emerging knowledge, current trends, and policy issues relevant to the portfolio through diligent research.
  • Oversee grant management by tracking progress, offering assistance, utilizing grants management software effectively, and nurturing relationships with grantees to address challenges and monitor developments.
  • Conduct thorough background research on potential grantees, including site visits, and evaluate active proposals, soliciting reviews from qualified experts when necessary.
  • Participate in the internal review of new proposals, enhancing their quality by reviewing budgets, staffing, and project outcomes, and preparing confidential evaluations for board consideration.
  • Prepare materials for presentations and present grant proposals at Executive Review Meetings.
  • Review and authorize requests for grant modifications, compile closeout reports, and ensure compliance with grant terms.
  • Act as a representative of the Corporation to grantees, attending meetings and drafting summaries.
  • Monitor and manage ongoing projects, providing program assessment and administrative support as required.
  • Draft strategic documents, talking points, and correspondence as needed.
  • Represent the Corporation in discussions, webinars, and events related to the field.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A college degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation and listening abilities.
  • Outstanding writing skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient project management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
