Job Overview

Urban Pathways, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Program Budget Analyst to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the financial stability and transparency of our programs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in analyzing and producing financial reports. They will work closely with program management to develop comprehensive budgets, forecast expenses, and ensure compliance with funders' financial and system requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with program management to develop annual and multi-year comprehensive budgets.
  • Review and analyze expenditure patterns and trends to determine potential for reallocation or adjustments.
  • Interact with fiscal and program staff to ensure accurate recording and billing of program expenses.
  • Work with state and city reporting systems to ensure compliance with funders' financial and system requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, financial management, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in a social service non-profit setting with state and city funding streams.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software, such as Financial Edge or Sage Intacct.
  • Functional experience with Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
