Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
As a Foster Care Specialist Lead at NAYA Family Center, you will be responsible for providing case management services to Native American youth in foster care. Your duties will include:
- Providing a full range of case management services to foster care youth and their families.
- Developing and implementing enrichment and cultural arts programs for youth involved in the child welfare system.
- Maintaining ongoing contact with youth and foster families on caseload.
- Acquiring and utilizing resources made available through collaboration with other agencies to meet additional needs of clients and their families.
- Disbursing client assistance funds in compliance with funding sources and department priorities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Indian Child Welfare Act.
- Ability to work with low-income and ethnic minority clientele.
- Strong organizational systems and time management skills.
