About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Outreach and Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with senior-focused community-based organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to promote our high-touch care model.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Strategize, coordinate, and execute events within the community to educate seniors and their caregivers about our healthcare services.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with health plan agents, independent insurance agents, social workers, case workers, senior housing managers, senior centers, local government, and other stakeholders to educate them about our unique offerings.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Utilize marketing tools to attract potential new patients and maintain up-to-date information in our customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
  • Communication and Presentation: Develop and deliver effective presentations to large audiences about our high-touch care model and engage with patients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
  • Compliance and Regulatory: Understand and adhere to state and federal anti-kickback statutes related to healthcare referrals.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of successful sales experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, and proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
  • Personal Qualities: Positive attitude, warm and gentle disposition, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions

The Senior Community Outreach Specialist will work in a general office environment with occasional travel to community events and meetings. The position requires the ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods, as well as lift and move up to 15 pounds.
