About the Position

This Administrative Officer position is part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, Operations Division. Located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the division.

Job Summary

The selected candidate will serve as an Administrative Officer for the Division, responsible for accomplishing administrative and personal actions in support of Division objectives. The position reports directly to the Deputy Chief of Operations Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the human resources office regarding personnel actions for the organization.
  • Communicate with management and office staff regarding administrative matters concerning the office.
  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual inventory for training requirements.
  • Review new circulars and directives affecting administrative procedures to determine required changes and/or actions.
Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must meet one of the following qualifications:

  • GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes organizing office administrative functions in support of daily operations, assisting with budget formulation and execution, and performing administrative support duties such as purchasing supplies and coordinating training/travel.
  • GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes providing administrative support to an organization, including personnel support or position management, and coordinating personnel actions with management.

Salary: $73,172 per year, plus locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
