About This Position:
Kansas State University's Aerospace and Technology Campus is in search of temporary, part-time Senior Flight Training Specialists to enhance its team of aviation professionals. The Senior Flight Training Specialist role involves conducting flight instruction for private pilots, instrument-rated pilots, commercial pilots, flight instructors, and other trainees as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations. This is a temporary position that does not offer benefits.
This role is based out of a new satellite location in the Olathe area.

Qualifications for Success:
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Must possess a Current FAA Certified Flight Instructor (Single-Engine Land, CFI) and Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII) Certificate upon employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- FAA Commercial Pilot Airplane Single-Engine Land
- FAA Commercial Pilot Airplane Multi-Engine Land
- Current Certified Flight Instructor Airplane Single-Engine and Instrument Land
- Current FAA Medical Certificate with Second Class Privileges
- FAA Certified Flight Instructor Single-Engine Land and Instrument
- FAA Flight Instructor High Performance Endorsement and Complex Endorsement
- Thorough documentation of training records and strict adherence to Safety Practices and Procedures manual and a safety culture
Additional Requirements:
