The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a highly skilled Addiction Psychologist to join our team in the Integrative Outpatient Services (IOS) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing outpatient individual and group psychotherapy to individuals presenting with substance use disorders.
As an Addiction Psychologist, you will have a key role in the MSBHC training programs, including the APA-accredited psychology pre-doctoral internship and the psychiatry residency programs. You will provide clinical supervision to psychology interns, externs, post-doctoral fellows, and other clinical staff, particularly in the addictions domain. You will also serve as a consultant to Psychiatry trainees and participate in multidisciplinary grand rounds, case conferences, and didactics with trainees and clinical staff.
The successful candidate will have a doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an American Psychological Association (A.P.A.) accredited graduate program and have completed an A.P.A. accredited internship. They must be licensed as a psychologist in New York State and have at least three years of post-licensure experience in providing evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use disorders. Prior experience in clinical supervision and service provision within hospital-based settings is also necessary.
We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $175,000, based on number of years post-licensure and faculty rank. The salary range does not include bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits.
