Job Summary:

Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the New Albany Area. As a part-time Psychologist, you will conduct assessments, provide individual counseling sessions, and develop individualized treatment plans to facilitate patients' well-being and diminish emotional distress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide evidence-based counseling and behavioral interventions to address emotional, behavioral, and psychological aspects of mental health.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • Assist patients in developing effective coping strategies, stress management techniques, and behavior modification skills to facilitate well-being.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet patients' specific needs and treatment goals.
  • Administer psychological assessments to inform treatment planning and evaluate treatment outcomes.
  • Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care and specific those delineated by the national and state boards of psychology.
Requirements:
  • PhD/PsyD degree in Clinical Psychology
  • Current/valid IN License to practice Psychology
  • Training and experience in substance and alcohol addictions, abuse and recoveries; coping strategies, and behavior modifications in conjunction with interventional techniques
  • Experience and skills performing pre-op assessment requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in teaching and/or counseling
