Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join our team at V2X. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS standards and programs across the program, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and Local regulatory and program-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support EHS standards and programs across the program, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and Local regulatory and program-specific requirements.
  • Develop various reporting systems and provide safety analysis as required.
  • Modify and implement compliance tracking programs and recordkeeping systems.
  • Develop technical documents including EHS procedures, programs, and guidance documents.
  • Responsible for environmental safety risk management.
  • Conduct investigations and root cause analysis and may make resolution recommendations.
  • Implement corrective/preventative actions and continuous improvement activities as directed related to ESH.
  • Monitor environmental compliance issues and provide assistance with workplace safety matters.
  • Perform job hazard assessments by participating in processes and procedures and researching industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring mandatory reporting of program accidents and incidents.
  • Inform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing necessary information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensure appropriate personnel obtain and maintain requisite OSHA and other training appropriate to job responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Experience providing development and support the Environmental Health and Safety standards and programs across the program, ensuring compliance with Federal, state, and Local regulatory and program-specific requirements.
