About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Management Analyst to join our team at LaunchPoint PEO. As an Operations Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Regional FPS by performing tasks such as data analyst, creating reports, training, and assisting in other special projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly post inspection/post visit statistics and analysis - GPRA measurements, incident analysis, internal performance metrics, ABC model, and daily management of Protective Security Officer reporting
  • Baseline Requirements and Automation: Establish baseline requirements/counts for number of posts, Protective Security Officers (PSOs), post order templates, and automate daily communication with the Regions to ensure productivity levels are sustained for meeting all established performance indicators
  • Ad Hoc Data Inquiries and Reporting: Ad Hoc or as needed data inquiries, summary, and reporting for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), cross divisional reporting, and higher headquarters
  • PSO Inbox Management and Response: Monitor and respond to the PSO inbox on a timely basis
  • Training and Guidance for Inspectors and PSOPMs: Provide on-site and webinar training to inspectors, Protective Security Officer Program Managers (PSOPMs), Contracting Officer's Representatives (CORs), etc.
  • Guidance on National Directives and Current Regulations: Provide guidance to Regions as it pertains to current national directives
  • Monthly and Quarterly Team Briefings: Provide input and data for the monthly and quarterly team briefings to the FPS Director and Assistant Directors for Field Operations (ADFOs)
  • Development, Sustainment, and Updating of SharePoint Sites: Lead the development, sustainment, and updating of SharePoint sites
  • Presentation Materials and Report Preparation: Assist in the preparation of presentation materials and prepare, edit, and assemble reports required for meetings and presentations
  • Maintenance of Confidentiality and Collaboration: Maintain confidentiality of information and work effectively with other branches and divisions within the organization to accomplish tasks
  • Special Projects and Other Assignments: Provide assistance, as needed, with special projects and complete other ad hoc assignments, as determined

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of eight years of experience in project or program management, or related work with a minimum of five of the eight years in conducting analytical and support activities related to task area.
  • A minimum education requirement of a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data.
  • Ability to read and interpret management policy, regulations, and directives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 or higher to include Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively with a group or independently.

Benefits and Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $77,000-$82,000.
