The Department of Homeland Security is seeking a highly skilled attorney to join their team as an Associate Legal Advisor in the Labor and Employment Division (LELD) in Washington, D.C. Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $82,764 and $191,900 per year, depending on the individual's level of experience and qualifications.

About the Role: As an Associate Legal Advisor, you will be responsible for providing legal advice, training, and support to ICE programs, including top-ranking officials, on Federal employment law issues. You will also serve as agency counsel in proceedings before administrative and judicial forums, including arbitration, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Merit Systems Protection Board.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school and be an active member in good standing of the bar of a U.S. state, a territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia. You should also possess excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
