About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PACU Recovery department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU Recovery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU Recovery department, utilizing your specialized skills and knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license or multistate compact license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
  • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
