Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PACU-Recovery department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU Recovery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

About the Role

This is a Monday-Friday position with limited weekend requirements and one night call every other week. You will be responsible for recovering patients for 30 minutes to one hour, then sending them to Phase 2 and giving a hand-off to another nurse. In Phase 2, you will go over discharge paperwork with family members, give patients a snack and medicine, and free them for discharge if they meet requirements.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current state RN license or a current multistate compact license, and possess an associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. You must also have current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date, and current American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certifications or obtain within 6 months after hire date.
