We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU Recovery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery process for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized patient care and support to patients recovering from anesthesia
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and document patient progress
- Current state RN license or multistate compact license
- Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
