About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the PACU department at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a PACU nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth recovery for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the PACU setting, utilizing your specialized skills and knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective interventions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure safety and efficacy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current state RN license or a current multistate compact license.
  • An associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school.
  • Experience in a PACU or critical care setting, with a strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
