Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for opening and closing the store in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Conduct cash register counts at the start and end of each day, complete cash handling reports, and manage bank deposits.
  • Process customer payments for merchandise using the Point Of Sale Cash Register.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming customers, managing phone inquiries, processing orders, providing directions, addressing complaints, and assisting customers in selecting merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing light cleaning and dusting.
  • Stock, organize, and display merchandise as directed by management.
  • Accurately complete necessary receiving documentation as required.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of two years of retail sales experience, including proficiency with POS systems, store opening and closing procedures, cash handling, merchandising, and adherence to floor layouts.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods (4-6 hours), lift up to 30 lbs, and perform bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping movements.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and making decisions based on established store policies.
