About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and organized Administrative Assistant - Office Logistics to join our team at Brixmor Property Group.

This is a full-time position that provides support on a daily basis to the Plymouth Office, requiring excellent communication skills, organization, accuracy, attention to detail, relationship building skills, verbal & written communication, judgment, and confidentiality.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of shipping materials, such as boxes, tape and labels, and keeping inventory of these supplies. They will also be responsible for restocking supplies for the mailroom, checking fax machines throughout the day, and distributing faxes to appropriate recipients.

In addition, the successful candidate will assist with setting up and breaking down of office events and gatherings, perform occasional switchboard coverage for breaks, and fill-in when the receptionist is out of the office.

Salary: $52,000 - $62,000 per year

Key Tasks
  • Sorts and delivers incoming mail and packages by department to ensure timely distribution.
  • Processes and weighs outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates and other required information.
  • Process bulk mailings via mail and FedEx Manager.
  • Operates mail machines including the postage meter, copiers and mail folding and inserting machine.
  • Replenishes postage on postage meter as needed. Monitor the supplies needed for the postage machine. Place service calls when needed.
  • Responsible for maintaining an adequate supply of shipping materials, such as boxes, tape and labels and keep inventory of these supplies.
  • Stocks supplies for the mailroom.
  • Check all fax machines throughout the day and distribute to appropriate recipients.
  • Restocking of printers and copier stations with throughout the office.
  • Maintain the mailroom to ensure that it is always clean and organized.
  • Restocking of snacks and drinks in pantry area.
  • Office Events - Assist with setting up and breaking down of office events and gatherings
  • Occasional switchboard coverage for breaks. Fill-in when receptionist is out of the office.
Requirements
  • Experience in a professional setting.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle requests in a courteous, professional, and timely manner.
  • Excellent time and project management skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and coordination with multiple departments
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
