Yard Maintenance Assistant

Dawes Rigging and Crane Rental, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Grounds and Service Department as a Yard Maintenance Assistant.
This full-time, non-exempt position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive wage. After 100 days of successful employment, you'll receive a $100 bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the yard, including equipment, buildings, and surrounding areas.
- Assist in the cleaning and pressure washing of cranes and heavy trucks.
- Load and unload cranes and crane components as needed.
- Provide physical labor at construction sites and support other craft workers as directed.
- Operate hand and power tools, as well as various equipment and instruments.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and other industry standards.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work safely in various environments, including those with changing temperatures and humidity levels.
- Capacity to safely operate complex construction equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
