Job Overview

Horizon Develop Build Manage is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, well-running, and attractiveness of our properties.

This full-time position will support multiple properties in the Milwaukee area and will have on-call responsibilities for emergencies. The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Corrective Maintenance by completing work requests
  • Assisting with apartment make-ready, including painting, cleaning, replacing appliances, plumbing/electrical work, vendor management, drywall repairs, and more
  • Assisting with snow removal as needed
  • Preventative Maintenance
  • Emergency maintenance
  • Maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
  • Establishing and maintaining good relations with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and co-workers
  • Assisting outside contractors when services are required
  • Picking up trash on property to maintain cleanliness and safety

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years full-time maintenance experience
  • Licenses: A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required for travel to job sites
