This position demands a motivated engineer with exceptional organizational capabilities, adept at delivering projects punctually and within financial constraints. The role will involve a broad spectrum of responsibilities associated with solid waste management, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, and beyond.

Location: Opportunities are available in our Columbia, MD or Ashland, VA offices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the development, design, and approval processes of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Establish project schedules, liaise with subcontractors, and guarantee project completion within allocated budgets and timelines.
  • Generate engineering documentation, schematics, and design strategies for environmental challenges.
  • Investigate and ensure project adherence to applicable codes and regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to enhance internal workflows and craft comprehensive proposals.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, offering effective resolutions.
  • Guide junior personnel and take part in recruitment activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of pertinent engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer license in Maryland.
  • Expertise in stormwater management, erosion control, and permitting processes in Maryland.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively.

Desirable Experience:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
