Test Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Belcan. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing test plans for product components and subcomponents, as well as performing and analyzing basic and advanced testing and analysis to support design and development objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure product quality and reliability
- Perform and analyze testing and analysis to support design and development objectives
- Provide hands-on support to technical teams through preparation and execution of test programs and test set-up and test execution
- Write and develop LabVIEW programs to automate and monitor tests
- Assist in the general maintenance, upkeep, and improvement of the lab and its capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Engineering Technology, or related discipline
- Five to seven years of experience designing or developing electro-mechanical systems
- Minimum of two years of experience in testing and test evaluation in a manufacturing or test facility environment
- Experience with LabView for both data acquisition and control applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with reciprocating diesel engines and gas turbine engines and engine control
- Ability to understand complex engineering principles and situations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Experience with AC and DC motors, drives, and complex test arrangements
- Experience working with precision data transducers for both mechanical and electrical signal data acquisition
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive pay and benefits package, including a salary range of $93,000 to $104,000, as well as benefits such as health care, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.
