Ohio University is seeking a responsible and reliable student driver to assist with our CATS Late Night transit services. This position is focused on evening and weekend shift opportunities to provide safe and efficient transportation to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate transportation services for students, faculty, and staff, including scheduled university routes and on-demand transportation resources.
  • Provide superior customer service and ensure safe and efficient transport to customers, adhering to all university, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Assist with transportation dispatching and ride request scheduling as needed, utilizing scheduling software to meet campus transportation needs.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspection activities and maintain proper transportation documentation to ensure compliance with all position requirements.
  • Assist with cleaning, inspecting, and general maintenance duties associated with university fleet, including washing and fueling of vehicles.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student at Ohio University.
  • Must have a valid United States Class D license with a demonstrated safe driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of applicable experience.
  • Must be flexible with work hours.
