We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our team at Henry Ford Health System. As a Pediatric Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a provider.
- Perform select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts.
- Prepare treatment rooms for examination and perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and maintaining records.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment and perform basic materials management functions, including ordering and stocking supplies.
- May document the provider's encounter with patients, including diagnoses, symptoms, and follow-up instructions.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date.
- Medical Assistant certification obtained within 3 months of hire date.
- High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
