**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Collision Body Technician to join our team at TX Motors of North Richland Hills, Inc. As a key member of our Collision Center, you will perform vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make you a valuable asset to our team.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform vehicle repairs as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
  • Communicate with Estimators and Parts Associates to obtain necessary parts.
  • Assess vehicle condition to determine if additional safety or repair work is needed.
  • Perform all body repairs according to estimate.
  • Perform welding, soldering, body alignment, and frame/unibody repairs.
  • Operate all equipment in the Collision Center in a safe and productive manner, following our Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) while working on the production floor.
  • Inspect all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed.
  • Mix all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications.
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations that affect Collision Center operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA guidelines, etc.
  • Gain superior product knowledge to provide high-quality repairs.

**Requirements**

  • ICAR certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
  • OEM certification (preferred) or interest to become certified.
  • At least two years' automotive experience.
  • Must have a valid, in-state driver's license with an acceptable, safe driving record.
  • Ability to operate an automobile.
