About Us: More Clean of Texas is a premier power sweeping service provider dedicated to ensuring that commercial, municipal, and infrastructure clients maintain pristine and attractive properties. We take pride in treating every property with the utmost care and respect.

Position Overview: This role primarily involves daytime hours across five days each week, with occasional requirements for evenings, weekends, and travel. Under the guidance of the President and/or Area Manager, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet and properties, which includes both routine and emergency manual tasks.

Compensation: $22.00/hr - $28.00/hr, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct maintenance, preventative care, and repairs on company vehicles, equipment, and trailers, covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
  • Maintain organized and timely documentation of all work performed using our internal fleet management software.
  • Regularly inspect shop and storage areas for cleanliness and safety compliance.
  • Ensure all vehicles are routinely checked for cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Operate company vehicles, provided you have an approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of both routine and emergency maintenance for all vehicles and storage locations.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers as needed, under management direction.
  • Adhere to safety protocols by wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Exhibit regular and punctual attendance.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Be prepared to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance.
  • Diesel maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Ability to interpret schematics.
  • Personal tools are preferred but not mandatory.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
  • Capability to obtain a TSA TWIC card.
  • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
  • Familiarity with email and iPad technology is essential.
  • Self-motivated and reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and equipment, as well as power tools.
Physical Requirements:

In this role, you will frequently drive, stand, walk, sit, use your hands and fingers, reach outward and above shoulder height, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend. The ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and push or pull similar weights is required. Specific vision abilities needed for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Successful performance of this job requires the ability to complete each duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
